Two New Hyundai Santa Fe Models Unveiled in NYC

In a bold move, Hyundai has shuffled around some model names in its lineup. The Hyundai Santa Fe that we know and love will adopt the name Hyundai Santa Fe Sport this summer, while the 2012 Hyundai Veracruz will take the original Hyundai Santa Fe moniker. If the whole thing seems a bit confusing, it's because it is slightly. But the decision was made with consumers' best interest in mind.

How can we know this for sure? Everyone here at Gurley Leep Hyundai, in Mishawaka, tends to keep up with the latest Hyundai news. We know the ins and outs of the company's inner workings, and their strategy for their crossover/SUV lineup is a very interesting one.

The forthcoming 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is set to be an all-new, five-passenger crossover, while the larger 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe supports room for seven occupants. The move comes as Hyundai adopts a new design language for their larger models simply called "Storm Edge," which borrows heavily from the company's sedan and hatchback design, "Fluidic Sculpture."

So as you can see, both the 2013 Santa Fe and 2013 Santa Fe Sport differ, while also having something very strong in common. One more attribute they both share? That would be the solid build quality that goes into every new Hyundai.

To learn more about all-new Hyundai Santa Fe or Santa Fe Sport, be sure to stay tuned. There's sure to be more details regarding exact availability and pricing to come, and Gurley Leep Hyundai located at 5302 N Grape Road, is dedicated to keeping you informed.
