Hyundai Sales Hit Record High in November

Hyundai vehicle sales for November are in, and it truly is the most wonderful time of the year for the South Korean automaker. More specifically, they helped a record 49,610 drivers get into a new Hyundai last month, which is an incredible 22-percent total increase in sales and 24-percent retail increase as well when compared to this same time last year.

"The Thanksgiving Holiday weekend, including 'Black Friday,' proved to be a very strong selling period and helped us break our all-time November sales record," explains Dave Zuchowski, Hyundai Motor America's executive vice president of national sales. "With vehicle availability at the highest levels for the year, and with positive demand signals and improving consumer confidence, Hyundai is positioned for a very strong December finish to this record-breaking year."

Which vehicle is responsible for this incredible feat? If Gurley Leep Hyundai had to choose, we'd say that the one-two combo of the Hyundai Sonata and Elantra are responsible. These compact and subcompact offerings feature the company's 'fluidic sculpture' design, which has drawn in consumers from competing automakers.
